Collecting Data on Behalf of our Clients

AO Marketing is a digital marketing agency. We design, build and maintain websites, social media campaigns, and other forms of digital advertising on behalf of our clients. We also provide email services and handle mailing lists for some of them.

Our work entails processing data collected by our clients’ websites (ex. via contact form submissions, cookies and analytics), data collected by our clients’ social media/digital marketing campaigns (ex. Facebook ads and the Facebook pixel, Google AdWords, etc.), and data provided to us directly by our clients (ex. mailing lists).

We process data on behalf of our clients in order to carry out the work they contract us to do (ex. designing/building/maintaining their websites, social media campaigns, and other digital advertising).

We identify and delete personal data in our possession which is controlled by our clients when it is no longer needed for the contract with the client.

Personal data for use in a one-off short-term contract is deleted soon after completion of the contract (ex. we delete a mailing list provided to us for a single mailing after it has been sent out).
